Feminism - Part 1

You are a Feminist?? Or maybe an anti - Feminist?? What if you come across a couple of lines that make you feel you are both??

In only a few years of life, fortunately I met these two type of people.. One who do not support the idea of Feminism still demand rights for both gender.. And second one, they believe both, in Feminism along with rights..

(never met an anti - Feminist being yet)

Whether you know it or not, we all have gender bias rampants in us, considering you in both mind states.. So it would not be wrong to get through the exact meaning of Feminism really quick; what is Feminism?? 

If you want to go to Google just now, hold on.. Below you will find what Google shows when you simple search the thing, 'feminism'.. 

Feminism is:

1. The advocacy of women’s rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes..

2. The theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes..

3. The belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities..

Rather, what I think, Feminism, at its grass root level is about equality of both gender instead of putting them into category of 'them being Same', because many people lit up an argument since they are not 'same', there can't be equality among them..

To get what I mean, try answering these questions in your mind or pen it down somewhere or may comment in the comment section..

1. What makes you mad and agitated to read in the media, about men, women and equality??

2. Do you oppose the idea that every human being on the planet deserves equal access to all opportunities?? If you oppose it, what are you concerned will happen if equality is achieved?? 

3. Do you believe that women and men deserve equal rights and equal opportunities? If not, why not, specifically?? 

Many will have positive approach to these 3 questions.. I believe they must be in favour of having equal rights for men and women, but the conflict does not end here.. The discussion is on how that equality should be achieved..

I believe that these would have been in existence long ago, if people did not have fake perception about this issue.. People like anti - Feminists.. There could more reasons for they not favouring this concept, perhaps I managed to think of only 2 of the reasons.. 

(why people do not follow Feminism) 

1. Feminism has only witnessed angry women protesting.. (our society continues to punish women like these)

2. Majority fear that women will overpower men or same sort of thing.. 

It is not a bad thing to be an anti - Feminist or to have one around us, we have many ways to perceive the world and it is upon us which way we do.. You cannot force anyone to see the world through your eyes..
